Scotty's Custom Sawmilling is powered by a LT40 hydraulic, 3 cylinder CAT diesel engine equipped with a Accuset computer. Scotty has many years of sawmilling experience and has always pleased his customers. Logs can be cut from veneers to timbers, any thickness up to 33 feet in length and specializing in extreme widths. Scotty can custom cut your timber or provide high quality millwork for a fair price.
The price to run the saw mill is $85 an hour. I do not charge the customer for band blades unless I hit foreign objects in their logs, a $25 replacement fee per band blade will be customers responsibility. This is approximately half the cost of buying from the local lumber yard.
